The Park Point Community Club proudly presents the 39th annual

10 am - 5 pm, Saturday and Sunday, June 27 and 28, 2009 Park Point Recreation Area, Duluth, MN


Entry Instructions:

  1. 1.Complete the online form, which is found at the bottom of this web page.

  2. 2.Submit 4 digital .jpg images for review via email (parkpointartfair@gmail.com).  Include your name and business name in the email.  The file names should be 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg, and 4.jpg.  Images should be 300 pixels per inch for possible print use in promotional materials.

  3. 3.In an envelope, enclose a separate check or money order for each fee (Jury and Exhibitor Fee).  Make checks payable to the Park Point Community Club. Jury Fee: $15 nonrefundable and deposited on receipt. Exhibitor and Park User Fee: $185; this fee will be returned if applicant not accepted.


Important Information:

  1. Artist application deadline: March 1, 2009

  2. The committee has the right to refuse an artist who does not comply with Entry requirements.

  3. Accepted exhibitor fees will be cashed April 30, 2009.

  4. Cancellation Fee: Your booth will be refunded less $50 until 6/1/09. After 6/1/09, exhibitor fees will not be refunded.

  5. Notifications will be mailed April 15 , 2009

  6. Media and eligibility: Fine artists and crafts people working in ceramics, fiber, photography, jewlery, wood, glass, painting and mixed media. All work must be original design and execution by the applying exhibitor. No commercial molds, kits, imports or country crafts. All work must be represented in the slides.

  7. Jurying: Four images are viewed simultaneously and judged on the basis of originality, craftsmanship design and quality. Good quality images are essential. No images of your booth accepted. All jury decisions are final.

  8. Installation and Display: Participants must provide their own display materials and make their own rain plan arrangements. An exhibition space of approximately 10’x10’ will be assigned to each person. Displays must be set up by 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Artists juried into the art fair must stay for the entire fair.

  9. Awards: Cash awards of $100 and an original art work will be given in each of the following categories: ceramics, fiber, jewelry, wood, glass, photography, painting, and sculpture. There will also be a $300 Best of Show Award. Award winners are waived for the 2010 jury process, but not the exhibitor fee.

  10. Sales Tax: Exhibitors are responsible for collecting their own MN State sales tax (6.5%) plus the city sales tax(1%). For MN sales tax application call the MN Department of Revenue at 651-282-5225. Please include sales tax number on application if available.

I have read and verify that I have personally created the work to be shown. I understand the Call For Entries and accept the rules and my responsibilities. I release PPAF 2009, its volunteers and employees from responsibility of damage, theft or loss of my work. I also give permission for the Park Point Art Fair 2009 to use my slides for event publicity.
